Donald Joseph Qualls better known as his DJ Qualls stage name DJ Qualls was born in the United States. He is an actor, producer and model. After becoming famous through his roles on Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow He was featured in over 20 feature films including The Core. Alongside his role in Road Trip, he's played in 22 different TV shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order etc. Qualls had been diagnosed as having Hodgkin's Lymphoma around age 14, and has battled the disease ever since. After two years of treatment the cancer went into remission. The treatment at an early stage had a negative effect on his body. It hampered his development. Once he started acting financially secure, it was his goal because his experience with poverty had been a part of his childhood. In an interview, he stated that if I don't achieve money security or feel out of control in the world I will feel miserable. In an interview the actor also discusses his own childhood. He is determined to stop the bullying. DJ says that "Cruelty breaks the heart of my soul." His ideal film role and in his life is the father. Director doesn't pick him for these roles however, he claims. He'd like to have a baby to allow him to devote more time in order to spend more time with the newborn.
